People aren''t born with unwanted habits, phobias, confidence issues, compulsive tendencies, tendencies to overeat, bitting their nails or suffering from fear of flying. From an NLP perspective these are examples of learnt behaviour. For example, someone who has a fear of public speaking may have learned this response from when they were forced to read in front of a class at school and then ridiculed by their teacher for their poor performance. Their unconscious mind stores this memory and then links it to similar situations in the future. So,the thought of "that wedding speech" or " the important presentation at work that can''t go wrong......" then becomes a real issue.
The good news is that if you can learn to link such processes together you can also learn to unlink these processes using proven NLP strategies and techniques.
